Derek Chinn climbed Mt Larkins near Glenorchy. “After a bivouac and an early start, I got to the summit in time for sunrise.”

David, Chrissie, Freya and Oscar Short and Jade White delivered more magazines to Hackett Hut in the Richmond Range as part of David’s Walk1200km challenge.

Georgina Crawford and Manaia Berryman walked the Old Ghost Road. “So blessed to have shared this amazing experience with my son,” said Georgina. “His first hike!”

Jordan Schollum and Ruby (5) enjoyed the snow at Bushline Hut.

The only way to look at an inversion is upside down, according to Eleanor (11) and Emily Miskelly (13). They were at Greenstone Valley.

Rueben Shim and Bonnie the dog had a frosty start in Waipakihi Valley.

Caelen Kinley, Adam Smith and Findlay Poff climbed Mt Princess in the St James Range with Stewart Gibbon.

Cousins Sylva Wilson and Stan Mankelow crossed Orongorongo River to get to Jans Hut. It was Sylva’s first overnight tramp and he loved it!
