Steven Dunn and Wayne Matthews were hard at work hiking the Cass–Lagoon Saddle track when Steven remembered he had missed an email and went looking for some reception.

Archee Hutton (4) and father Jared went up Mt Pirongia on Archee’s first big walk. He was curious about all the things he found along the track.

Annmarie, Stella and Tina walked the beautiful Nydia Track after reading about it in Wilderness. “An awesome weekend!” Stella said.

Michael Hendriks took a short walk to tranquil Scotts Beach on the West Coast.

Georgia and Allie Dunn completed a mum and daughter tramp of the Routeburn. “Magical memories forged on a fun few days away together,” said Allie.

Owen Cox, Julie James and Peter Davis had lunch at Dracophyllum Hut as part of Parawai Tramping Club’s challenge to bag all the huts in Tararua Forest Park.
