Fletcher and Frankie walked the Waitawheta Tramway with their mother, Amber Diskin. “What an awesome family-friendly walk, full of history,” said Amber.

Paula and Mark Allan did the Island Hills Station Walking Track with Paula and Mike Bennett. “Great mates, great outdoors, great times!” said Mark.

Folkers Williams and Hannele Tulkki-Williams took Lilja (8 months) for her first day-tramp up the Ōrongorongo River in Remutaka Forest Park. 

Mark Hillman completed the Paparoa Track with ‘Supertramp NZ’, a group of mates who have been hiking around New Zealand for 20 years. 

David, Andrea and Gethin Coburn walked the popular Tre Cime di Lavaredo loop in the Dolomites, Italy. Here, Andrea and Gethin are at Forcella Lavaredo (2454m).

Donna Broome celebrated her fiftieth with her husband Peter. “We spent six wonderful days in the Copland Valley, including a night at Douglas Rock Hut,” she said. 

Juanita McGoldrick climbed Mt Sonder on the Larapinta Trail in Australia. “It was fabulous walking up in the dark to watch the sunrise from the summit,” she said.

Mieke van Dolan (4) went on her 23rd overnighter with her parents Marlene and Micheal. “She loved this trip to Green Point Hut. Mud to the knees and a freezing cold lake dip were highlights,” said Marlene.

Sophie de Ville kept the sandflies at bay while researching the best university to attend according to the uni tramping club books at Carrington Hut.
