The popular Kaweka Ranges have several trips ideal for young trampers.

From ‘The Gums’ car park, the well-graded track winds its way alongside the Mohaka River, passing several good swimming spots en route to the well-appointed Te Puia Lodge.

Parents and children will relish the chance to enjoy natural hot springs at both the beginning and the end of the track.

The track is best suited to children of school age and over.
