A great option for a long weekend trip away – an easy-to-follow track that winds it way along the spine of the peninsula before dropping down into the scenic bays on the western side and an interesting side trip to Kariparipa Point.

Accommodation is in an abandoned lighthouse at the head of the cape.

Expect a round trip to take 14-16 hours to complete. DOC says the water tank at Cape Brett is empty so you need to carry extra water in.
