This is a tarn at the top of Clarke Slip in the Rees Valley, Mt Aspiring National Park. Clarke Slip makes for a beautiful side-trip from the Rees, with the tussock basin at the top of the slip providing views of Mt Earnslaw and Mt Clarke. A number of tarns provide foreground interest for photographers.
