The Rob Roy Glacier is just one of the attractions of the West Matukituki Valley within Mt Aspiring National Park.

From a swingbridge near Raspberry Flat the track sidles alongside the river before heading gently upwards towards the glacier viewpoint. The surrounding vegetation changes from beech forest to alpine grasses as the viewpoint is reached.

The track can be avalanche prone – check with DOC for current conditions.
