The new Jubilee Hut offers Otago trampers a good chance to stretch their legs without being out all weekend.

The track passes the site of Green Hut, one of New Zealand,s oldest, and ascends the highest point in the ranges before reaching the 10-bunk hut.

The hut offers trampers a handy base for day trips in the area or as part of a longer trip.
