Congratulations Kelsey Ngapo and Alison Cook, who are the winners of the Wilderness school holiday photo competition.
Ngapo and Cook have each won a Petzl Tikkid headlamp, valued at $59.90.
Wilderness editor Alistair Hall said the two winners embodied the joys of family tramping.
“The Cook family photo was the best image showing a whole family, all donning packs and having a great time in the backcountry, while Kelsey Ngapo’s photo of smiling five-year-old Beau in a wet Tongariro National Park is a testament to the tramping spirit – enjoying the journey, regardless of the conditions.”
WINNER: Beau, age 5, hiking the Whakapapaiti Track in Tongariro National Park. Photo: Kelsey Ngapo
