The Blue Lakes and Tasman Glacier viewpoint has unrivalled views of Tasman Glacier and its terminal lake, as well as some of the tallest and most magnificent mountains in New Zealand: the Mt Cook Range, Maltebrun Range and the Liebig Range.

From the Tasman Valley Road end, follow the track up the moraine wall to the viewpoint. A sidetrack also leads to the lake.
