Shantelle, Nathan, Logan, Connor and Sheldon Nesdale took the Waitengaue Stream Track to Waitawheta Hut. “There were 15 river crossings and we saw nobody else until the hut, which was full,” said Shantelle.

Eva, Zoe and Anna Millar chose the Milford Track for their annual ‘three sisters’ trip. “It was a cloudy morning as we crossed Mackinnon Pass, but when we saw blue skies we returned to the top to get the iconic Milford Track pic,” said Anna.

Maya and Zoe Clarke cooled off in Hopeless Creek after a hot day walking to Hopeless Hut in Nelson Lakes National Park.

Rebecca Scofield-McNeil and daughters Isla, Piper and Georgia tackled the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.

Jeanette Rybinski visited Mangahao Biv via Punga Biv in the Tararua Range. “It took almost five hours to bush-bash between the two, but I found a better line out the next day,” she said.
