A cold camp near Ben Lomond. Photo: Ryan Mazure

My friends and I hiked up Ben Lomond in Queenstown and set up camp in the saddle just to the south of the summit. While my friends were getting ready to pack all the gear into the tent, I ran a bit higher up the slope and captured the moment.

The feeling of being so small in the mountains is amazing.
