Constructed as a section of the Te Araroa Trail, the Breast Hill Track also features a the new Pakituhi Hut.

There is a steep 900m ascent to make the ridgetop and the hut is a short distance from here.

Return the same way or strike north on the track to Breast Hill and return along the ridge to the track start.
