This photo was taken the day after enduring 80km/h wind and sleet along Robert Ridge in Nelson Lakes National Park. We were on our way up the north-west face of Mt Angelus and looking back over Lake Angelus and Angelus Hut. The view was utterly captivating and the conditions perfect – a complete contrast to the previous day. Shot on a Canon S95 in HDR mode with timer.
