Last of the winter snow

I captured this image on a camping trip to a basin on the western side of Mt Ngauruhoe. The snow line had been retreating fast in the warm spring weather and Ngauruhoe was left with just part of its usual winter cloak on.

To capture the shot I left the shutter open for nearly 10 minutes. The tent was lit by a head torch left on inside.

Camera settings Canon 5D Mark III, 10 minute exposure, 2.8, 640 ISO.
