As an adult, Sooji discovered mountaineering, a passion which has led her on countless shenanigans across the Southern Alps as well as overseas, and (for better or worse) out of an engineering office and on to the tools, as a mountain guide. She particularly enjoys adventurous, technical climbing, ski traverses, wrestling pebbles, rock wren, and continuously learning more about the rocks, flora and fauna that inhabit NZ’s unique, precious, wild environments.
