Zora Creek

The head of Zora Creek, in the heart of the Hooker/Landsborough Wilderness Area, is an awe-inspiring place.

Surrounded by enormous slabs, we spent a couple of memorable nights here listening to the thunder of ice crashing off nearby Zircon and Zora glaciers.

We reached the head of the Zora via the Mahitahi River and over Mueller Pass.
