Ben Manners and partner Sophie tramped the Travers–Sabine. “We absolutely loved the circuit,” said Sophie.

Marcel and Perrin Smithers took a well-earned break descending Gillespie Pass under Mt Awful. Can you see its face in the snow, too?

Diana Osborne celebrated her sixtieth birthday by walking the Routeburn with her family. Here she is at Earland Falls.

Viv and Steve Buchanan and Greg, Amelia and Viv Wilkinson reached the high point of the Steele Creek Track on the Greenstone–Caples.

Penelope Hodgson (12) and Simone Shinnamon (13) hula-hooped at Luxmore Hut on the Kepler Track.

Te Aroha Hohaia and her mokopuna, Tyla Grindlay-Nicholls, hiked the Timber Trail as part of Te Araroa. “It was hot that day so very hot,” said Te Aroha.

Lila Adams and her mother Hiromi summited Mt Richmond. “Every time I come home from Australia we go tramping together. Mum never complains, even if I choose a really challenging track,” said Lila.

Cameron and Ivy Harris did an overnighter to Hidden Falls Hut on the Hollyford Track.

Yvonne and Brian Parker completed the Queen Charlotte Track. “We’re loving Marlborough and your mag to keep us motivated in our active retirement,” said Yvonne.

Dale Beker and Braden (10) hiked the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, an epic day with magical views.
