Our upcoming October issue is all about the Great Walks. We’ve got the best photos, maps and route guides, profiles and more. But we also wanted to pick the brains of our readers for their advice and tips on walking New Zealand’s finest tracks.

So, what can you share? Do you know best time to walk the Routeburn? What’s the best way to avoid the crowds? What was a highlight of your Great Walk experience? What was a lowlight? What’s a good piece of kit to bring that trampers may not normally consider? Which direction should they be walked? What are the common pitfalls of walking the Great Walks? Based on your experience, what can people expect?

Simply fill in the form below. We’ll publish the best advice in the October issue and send the person who gave it a free Spork!
