Cactus Equipment has released a new jacket, naming it, simply, Rain Jacket (935g, $589).

It has a long cut for trampers and is ‘guaranteed to last the distance in tough New Zealand conditions’ – says Cactus, which does indeed guarantee the product for life. The jacket is made from Cactus WTF-3 320 denier nylon and has a waterhead rating of 20-30,000mm.

The jacket, made in New Zealand, is fully seam sealed, has two zippered chest pockets and two hand-warmer pockets.
