I had read about Split Rock and wasn’t disappointed when I made the effort to go and have a look while tramping the Routeburn Track. The wide angle view helps accentuate the shapes of the trees against the sky. A spooky place! Shot on a Canon 5D mk2. EF24-105 lens at 24mm. ISO 200. 1/5 sec at F11.
