Water purification just got simpler and quicker with Steripen’s latest offering.

The Quantum RPS ($189.95) is capable of treating one litre of water in 90 seconds, or it can be switched to ‘rapid purification’ mode to purify four litres of water in 150 seconds.

The Quantum’s UV lamp provides 3000 treatments and can purify up to 12,000 litres when using the included four-litre reservoir. Using four AA batteries, it can treat 50 litres of water or 150 litres with lithium batteries.

The Quantum includes a fits-all-filter, one litre folding measuring cup and a four-litre reservoir. It kills 99.9% of protozoa, bacteria and viruses.
