#microchallenge34: Share your walking wallpaper

→ Partner prize: Bridgedale Midweight Merino Performance Fit socks!

Winner (featured image): Kama Clark’s wallpaper shows her at the Pouakai tarns. “This was my first walk after cancer and my first solo walk ever,” she said. “I was feeling pretty ecstatic!”

Jacqui Inder’s wallpaper reminds her of a rare family trip with her teenagers to Bealey Spur.

Ray Blyth’s wallpaper is of himself and his wife Judith on the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. “To achieve this walk was very satisfying.”

#microchallenge35: Find a bargain

→ Partner prize: A $100 Further Faster voucher!

Winner: Paula Kaspar purchased a $3.50 packable ground seat weighing just 70g from Daiso. “I highly recommend it to all trampers!”

Joy Bryant’s tramping clothes are her bargain find. They’re all from the op shop!

Judy van den Yssel-Richards found cheap plates ($2 each) and cups (50c each) for her grandkids to take on their next tramp.

#microchallenge36: Climb the longest flight of stairs

→ Partner prize: Salewa Ortles Light Mid PTX boots worth $660!

Winner: Kelsy Seyb discovered a seemingly endless stairway on the walk to Wairere Falls. She lost count at 85 steps!

Dina Parker climbed all 250 steps to Cape Palliser lighthouse!

Lissy Bell forgot to count the steps to Te Awa Kura/Barnett Park cave, but she was “pretty puffed at the top”.
