Partner prize: A Big Agnes Impassable 20 pack worth $360!

Jeanette Rybinski paused halfway across the stream on her way to Pukeatua (812m) in Tararua Forest Park.

#microchallenge29: Your oldest piece of kit in regular use

Winner! Inna Alex has joyfully used her MSR Whisperlite stove for 25 years all over the world! “In German they call gear like this ‘unkaputtbar’, which is similar to ‘unbreakable’.”

Partner prize: A $100 Back Country Cuisine Voucher!

Another happy stove user is Heather Pascoe, whose trusty Kovea has been in use since the late 1990s! “They’re a simple design, so very little can go wrong with them.”

One of Michelle Brett’s oldest pieces of gear is her Osprey pack. She got it for a snowy seven-day hike in Tasmania and it has now been all over New Zealand with her.

#microchallenge30: Eyes up!

Lou Days snapped the forest canopy on the Paparoa Track between Moonlight Tops and Pororari huts.

Partner prize: A pair of Bridgedale Midweight Merino Performance Fit socks!

Trish Loomans looked up to see the trees cradling the sun at Lake Tarawera Outlet Campsite.

Donna Broome had her eyes on this 1000-year-old tōtara in Peel Forest Scenic Reserve.
