Each month we set three new #microchallenges to add interest and silliness to your kilometres.
Each month we set three #microchallenges to inject a bit of fun into your walks. They also encourage you to appreciate your surroundings better. Our favourite nine #microchallenge completers receive a Walk1200km badge. The best entry of each challenge receives a prize from our partners.
#microchallenge13: Visit a lake
We have been inspired by the lakeside huts story in this issue and thought February would be the perfect time to… visit a lake – any lake. The best photos have people in them and brownie points for taking a dip! #microchallenge13
Partner prize: A $100 voucher to spend at retail partner Further Faster!

#microchallenge14: Be a tidy Kiwi

Can you help clean up your local park or neighbourhood? Take an empty bag and some gloves on one of your walks and collect some rubbish and then share your filthy spoils along with an estimate of how much rubbish you collected. Thanks to participant Jenny Morris for this idea. #microchallenge14
Partner prize: A Lowe Alpine Airzone 30 hiking pack worth $299.95.

#microchallenge15: Find an animal shape in a tree
Can you convince us you’ve seen a tree in the shape of an elephant (as in the photo above) or any other kind of animal? #microchallenge15
Partner prize: A pair of Bridgedale Midweight Merino Performance Fit socks

How to enter
