An easy walking track for all fitness levels.

If it’s a hot day, take the time to swim at The Anchorage as it is the best beach on the walk. Otherwise be content with swimming at Apple Tree or Colquille bays.

The track winds its way around the coast for most of the distance, but eventually heads inland and uphill. There are great views of the national park and the beautiful Torrent Bay.

Most likely you’ll find boats moored at The Anchorage. The hut has 24 bunks and a nearby campsite.
