#microchallenge22: Traverse a boardwalk

Winner! Cathay Sage and friends navigated this flooded boardwalk in Golden Bay.

Dorice Walmisley found plenty of boardwalks on the Humpridge Track Great Walk.

 Nadine Woods enjoyed the boardwalk on the Canopy Walk in Whangārei’s A.H. Reed Memorial Park.

#microchallenge23: Ramble beside the river

Winner: Lisa Ainley walked a trail beside the Makerikeri River. “It’s a fabulous wee trail made and maintained by the locals in that area,” she says.

On a trip to Anti Crow Hut, Lauren Freeman walked beside and in the Waimakariri River. 

Linda Johnson rambled beside a stream to reach this waterfall in Karaponga Reserve, Bay of Plenty.

Winner: While walking Zealandia’s fenceline, Georgina Wedge found a reminder of the changing season: a gorgeous pūriri moth!
