Winner (featured image): Jennifer Pilbrow enjoyed a “beaut day” clocking up 12.38km climbing Mt Isobel in Hanmer Springs.

Emma Oliver and her husband carried their daughter 15.74km to the summit of Roys Peak and back. 

Frances Paki spurned her usual street walking for a 13km-ish tramp to Holly Hut and Bells Falls with her young children. “This year we are trying to do some bigger day walks and overnight tramps,” she says.
