Lowe Alpine has been perfecting its world-class carry system since 1967.

For 55 years, Lowe Alpine has led the way in making packs designed to carry everything needed for your adventures. Now, it’s leading the charge to a sustainable pack industry.

Lowe Alpine was born from the hearts and minds of one of the world’s greatest climbing families. After years exploring the outdoors, the Lowe brothers decided they needed a pack that could carry more gear while letting them move more freely on demanding terrain. So they designed their own, and in 1967 Lowe Alpine was born.

It revolutionised the outdoor industry then and continues to do so today. Since 2020, Lowe Alpine, now owned by Equip Outdoors, has been carbon neutral and is on a path toward net zero by 2030. Fully 98 per cent of the fabrics used in Lowe Alpine packs are fluorocarbon-free and 34 per cent of fabrics contain recycled material.

Equip Outdoors is a member of Fair Wear, which protects workers’ rights and makes working conditions fairer, including better treatment and safety of workers and transparency along the global supply chain. After only two years of membership, Equip Outdoors has reached Leader status, awarded only to companies operating at an advanced level.

When you buy a Lowe Alpine pack, you can rest assured that it can be relied upon trip after trip, year after year, and is an environmentally conscious choice.
