Nic Low (Ngāi Tahu) is an author, arts festival director and former contributing editor at New Zealand Geographic. He is the author of three acclaimed books, including Uprising, which explores Ngāi Tahu’s history in the Southern Alps through walking journeys. Nic writes mainly about wilderness, race and history. Outside the world of words, you’ll find him and his whānau tramping, biking, climbing or running in the hills.
