This Friday is National Poetry Day and if there’s anything to inspire a poem, it’s certainly getting into the hills.
To celebrate poetry and its close relationship to the natural world, Wilderness is running the Wild Poems competition.
If you’ve written a stanza or two while out in the hills or soaking in the tub after you’ve returned we’d like to hear from you.
We’ll review all the entries and publish the best in the September issue.
The poems can be about anything to do with getting outdoors in New Zealand.
